Bryce Canyon National Park is really a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah. Through the years, erosion has shaped colorful Claron limestones, sandstones and mudstones into thousands of never-ending scenic views.
