Arches National Park
The world's largest concentration of natural stone arches is found at Arches National Park. Over 2,000 of them grace the 73,000 acre area. Such highlights include Devils Garden, Balanced Rock, Skyline Arch and Double Arch. Delicate Arch is the Park's most famous geologic feature. Located 5 miles from Moab. Canyonlands National Park
Visit Utah's largest National Park, world-renowned for its four-wheel drive vehicles, trails, white water rafting and mountain bike routes. Do not miss the Maze District, a jumbled stone playground, which requires backcountry use permits. Visitor's Centers are open year round and a reservations office is also located on site. Green River State Park
Located in Green River City, the park is a favorite embarkation point for river trips through Labyrinth and Stillwater canyons, and is a good base for seeing much of Southeastern Utah. Call 435-564-3633 for more information.

John Wesley Powell River History Museum
The River Runners Hall of Fame can be found here. It commemorates the men and women who have matched their wits against the Utah rivers. Included are fascinating replicas of the different kinds of boats used to explore the west's waterways.
