Beaver Mountain Ski Area, located near Logan in northern Utah, was the dream of Harold and Luella Seeholzer in 1939. Construction began in 1945 with a tow rope and warming lodge, which is now used as the ticket office. Harold's dream of having a double chair lift to the top of Beaver Mountain, was completed in 1970.
This family-owned resort, run by Harold's children and their families, has seen improvements, added runs and more lifts over the years. The new triple-lift will will carry 1,040 skiers per hour. The season-long calendar of events at the resort include Demo Days, "Dew the Mountain" Slalom Race and Snoopy Carnival.
