Best Friends Animal Sanctuary
The nation's largest sanctuary for companion animals. Located on 350 acres in the midst of the red-rock landscape of Angel Canyon, 5 miles North of Kanab. Call 435-644-2001 for more information.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes
A wide sweeping expanse of unique coral pink sand dunes provide a playground for hiking, taking photographs, off-highway vehicle riding or just playing in the sand. The park is 12 miles off US Hwy 89 near Kanab. Call 435-648-2800 for more information.

Grand Canyon North Rim
The forested North Rim viewpoints are located 2 hours south of Kanab. The North Rim offers a more intimate and private opportunity to experience the awesome spectacle of the Colorado River's stunning forces of erosion. Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
Recently designated as a huge national monument, these 1.7 million acres dominate much of Southern Utah. It is unique, as it is the first Monument to be administered by the Bureau of Land Management rather than the National Park Service. The Monument's vast and austere landscape embraces a peculiar array of scientific and historic resources. The high, rugged and remote region is highlighted with bold plateau and multi-hued cliffs that run for distances. It is a geological formation spanning eons of time. Heritage House
Restored to its original glory, the Heritage House boasts a collection of artifacts from Kanab's history. Open Monday - Saturday, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Call 435-644-3506 for more information.

Moqui Cave
The Moqui Cave is a privately owned museum housing Indian Artifacts, dinosaur tracks, fossils, and a florescent mineral display. Open Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 7:00pm, spring and fall.Located 5 miles north of Kanab. Call 435-644-2987 for more information.

Zion National Park
Zion is Utah's oldest National Park. With its soaring towers and monoliths, it offers a quiet grandeur. Zion's lofty formations such as The Great White Throne, The Watchman, Angles Landing and Weeping Rock are not to be missed. Park visitor centers are open year-round.
