Sand Sanctuary
Atriplex canescens variety of gigantea, also known as giant four-winged saltbush, is a unique plant species. The dune fields of Little Sahara are the only place in the world where this variety of saltbush grows naturally. Located 31 miles West of Nephi.
Uinta National Forest
The Uinta Forest offers an inspiring view and the promise of mountain recreation to the residents of cities below. American Canyon and Provo Canyon have an autumn mix of aspen and pine. The Timpanogos Wilderness lies between the two canyons. Do not miss the magnificent Mt. Nebo Loop, a national Scenic Byway. Yuba State Park
Located just 30 miles south of Nephi, the warm water and sandy beaches of Yuba State Park lure visitors from April to November. For enjoyment, take in the boating, swimming, waterskiing, picnicking and year round fishing. Fishing is for walleye and yellow perch. The area is also open to waterfowl hunting during the designated season.
