Known as the "hub of Central Utah," and situated along I-70, Richfield is a historic city surrounded by beautiful red-rock mountains and snow covered peaks. The town was originally established as a pioneer settlement in 1864. Capitol Reef National Park
Capitol Reef splashes color for 75 miles from its Northern to Southern borders. The bulging uplift of rainbow-hued sandstone creates the park's "reefs" and canyons. This inviting wilderness consists of sandstone formations such as Capitol Dome, Hickman Bridge and Cathedral Valley. Fishlake National Forest
This forest is a paradise for its beautiful aspen trees, Scenic Byways and trails for motorized and non-motorized use. Fishlake offers elk hunting, mackinaw and rainbow trout fishing. Recreation options include scenic drives, mountain biking, snowmobiling, ATV use, and hiking. The surrounding Fish-Lake Johnson valley area boasts spectacular mountain lake fishing in 3,000 acres of lakes and reservoirs, along with picnic areas and boating.
