Tooele is nestled at the foothills of the Oquirrh Mountains. It is located about 35 miles southwest of Salt Lake City. The Mormon pioneers came into this area in 1849 when three families settled on a local stream. Best Western Tooele Utah.

Restored Benson Grist Mill
This mill mirrors the past with its log cabin, historic buildings and equipment and a working blacksmith shop. South and North Willow Canyons
These canyons lead to spectacular mountain trails in the Stansbury Mountains, part of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The Stansbury Mountains contain Tooele County's highest point Desert Peak.
Tooele County Railroad Museum
